Job Description

What you'll be responsible for :

  • Planning and organizing the driver routes optimally to ensure maximum use of the truck fleet
  • Assigning routes to drivers (custom software)
  • Answering internal customer calls efficiently, courteously, and professionally
  • Entering information into the computer system to document calls and perform appropriate follow-ups
  • Being the point of contact for drivers regarding their working hours and resolve issues as needed
  • Being able to weigh trucks on our scales and integrate them into our system
  • Processing customs paperwork requests (for U.S. drivers)
  • Maintaining and monitoring inventory in our supply yards on a daily basis
  • Performing any other related tasks

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • You are capable of handling complex problems to find the best solutions
  • You have strong analytical skills
  • You have extensive knowledge of the geographic regions of Quebec, Ontario, the Maritimes, and Maine
  • You are available outside of regular working hours to handle driver emergencies
  • You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and dispatch software (Samsara)
  • You are bilingual in spoken and written communication (an asset)
