Join Nokia's advanced photonics and semiconductor design team, developing next-generation analog ICs for high-speed optical communication systems. In this role, you will design and lead development of high speed Transmit (Tx) and Receive (Rx) components for optical network systems (Coherent, PAM4, etc.). Leverage cutting-edge high speed SiGe BiCMOS process. Will play key role in delivering innovative solutions that enable faster, more efficient data transmission across data centers, telecommunications networks, and emerging AI-driven infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Key technical individual contributor responsible for design and development of Transmit (Tx) and Receive (Rx) components for optical network systems (Coherent, PAM4, etc.).
  • Innovate and develop new architectures utilizing advanced process nodes, preparing these processes for subsequent product development.
  • Actively participate in and contribute technical expertise to the development and integration of Key Enabling Technologies (KET).
  • Actively share technical knowledge and foster innovative, "outside-of-the-box" thinking within the design community, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  • Collaborate with product engineering and optical system groups to evaluate, develop, and refine "white box" specifications into detailedelectrical specifications for both Tx and Rx components.
  • Act as a key technical liaison between advanced R&D and product-focused teams.
  • Provide significant technical contributions to design reviews, verifying design integrity and adherence to standards. Support the design manager by applying Nokia documentation standards to optimize development cycles.
  • Offer technical guidance and share best practices in optical network design and development to mentor new hires and junior team members.
Qualifications
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering with 20+ years of related industrial experience.
