The Document Controller will manage licensing, engineering, and project files, ensuring accurate tracking and accessibility of documentation across teams.
Last Energy is seeking a Document Controller to manage the lifecycle of our licensing, engineering, and project files. The individual will ensure that all licensing submissions, technical drawings, vendor files, and compliance records are accurately tracked, updated, and accessible across our teams.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- System Management: Oversee the electronic document (Google Drive) system to organize, archive, and distribute documentation
- Version Control: Enforce the standards in Last Energy's "Document and Records Control" procedure, including naming, storage, and technical sign-offs
- File Distribution: Manage the official transfer of documents between internal teams, manufacturing partners, and external consultants
- Quality Assurance: Check incoming files for accuracy and complete formatting to keep master registries audit-ready
Qualifications
- 3+ of document control experience within a technical field, such as engineering, construction, or manufacturing
- High proficiency with digital file management software and advanced spreadsheets
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills to handle fast-moving projects
