Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Document Review Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, auditing, and maintaining accurate records across various systems and documents. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies through critical thinking and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities- Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards.
- Audit previously submitted records to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or missing information.
- Convert physical documents and forms into digital records while ensuring data accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve data entry errors, documentation issues, and record discrepancies.
- Contact clients, vendors, or other parties by phone to obtain missing or incomplete information.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to verify and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
- Follow established procedures for data management, record retention, and quality assurance.
- Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in data entry, document management, administrative support, auditing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with databases, document management systems, or electronic records.
- Familiarity with quality assurance or auditing processes.
- Customer service experience and professional phone etiquette.
