Tenstorrent is leading the industry on cutting-edge AI technology, revolutionizing performance expectations, ease of use, and cost efficiency. With AI redefining the computing paradigm, solutions must evolve to unify innovations in software models, compilers, platforms, networking, and semiconductors. Our diverse team of technologists have developed a high performance RISC-V CPU from scratch, and share a passion for AI and a deep desire to build the best AI platform possible. We value collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to solving hard problems. We are growing our team and looking for contributors of all seniorities.
This is a role for someone who treats documentation as a real product. you’ll own the assets that help how developers understand, navigate, and succeed with the tenstorrent stack, from first click to running code on hardware. this is both an engineering and product role driving clarity and structure across the entire developer journey.
This role is remote, based out of North America.
We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.
Who You Are
- you're an engineer first - comfortable building frontend applications, not just configuring static site generators.
- you think docs are part of the product, not a support artifact.
- you have strong opinions about what makes documentation beautiful and usable, and you can implement those opinions yourself.
- you write well and care about clear, precise technical prose.
- you’re obsessed with time-to-value for developers: how fast can a developer go from landing on a page to running something that works?
- you're comfortable navigating between engineering teams, DevRel, and product - translating messy reality into clean structure
- you like systems, information architecture, and governance as much as writing.
- you care about technical accuracy and hate when things silently rot.
- ownership of documentation as a product, including UI, navigation, search, onboarding, and metrics.
- ability to audit and unify fragmented docs across tt-metal, tt-nn, tt-forge, tt-cloud, tt-llk, and hardware into a single coherent portal.
- experience redesigning documentation UI, navigation, and information architecture, beyond template tweaks.
- strong background in developer documentation for hardware–software systems.
- experience defining metrics, instrumentation, and feedback loops for docs quality and adoption.
- comfort creating end-to-end tutorials with runnable code, real workflows, and engineering-reviewed diagrams.
- fluency with docs-as-code process. ability to manage markdown, static site generators, and multi-repo documentation workflows.
- ability to set up governance, ci checks, and processes so docs stay accurate over time.
- what actually blocks developer adoption in a state of the art hardware stack.
- how documentation structure shapes trust, confidence, and momentum.
- how to design onboarding paths for very different developer personas.
- how search, metrics, and feedback loops change how docs evolve.
- how to leave behind a docs system that scales without heroics.
