Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on E-Commerce Creative Director to lead the creative team. The E-Commerce Creative Director balances the responsibilities of running projects, leading concept development and rolling up your sleeves to work out the details. The ideal candidate is driven to create visually compelling work, grounded in strategy, and focused on the long-term goals of any campaign and the brand story. This highly creative and detail-oriented position requires the ability to collaborate, internally and externally. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet business goals and ensure designs implemented align with the brand’s initiatives. Leverage strategy, analytics, and consumer insights.
  • Lead overall brand aesthetic direction across all channels including ecommerce, product listing, copywriting, digital, print, packaging, and more.
  • Execution of creative campaigns that support ecommerce and marketing initiatives and communicate the creative strategy of the brand. (DTC/Amazon/Walmart/Marketplaces/etc)
  • Produce and direct all photoshoots (digital, print and video).
  • Ensure that assets receive proper approval and review and ensure that goals are addressed in all creative assets, always looking to maximize business objectives.
  • Lead creatives team on asset creation, responsible for all design and creative projects deliverables/timelines
  • Provide art and design direction to the team and have a hands-on approach to content creation
  • Create and optimize brand guidelines to translate across all mediums including digital, print and packaging.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve workflow and processes.

Qualifications

 

Qualifications

  • BA in Graphic/Art and 3+ years of art direction or design experience
  • Robust creative design experience for products
  • Ability to act as a leader in a fast moving, changing, cross-functional, cross-continent team-based environment
  • Ability to adapt and work outside of standard working hours for cross-continent calls and meetings
  • Deep understanding of customer experience, brand management, marketing, advertising, copywriting, storytelling and e-commerce product listings
  • Highly organized with demonstrated project management skills. Able to juggle multiple, and sometimes, conflicting priorities and needs
  • Experience in Amazon Marketplace, A+ Contents, Posts is a plus
  • Knows how to optimize images and designs for various digital platforms
  • Has a sharp eye for design with an elevated design aesthetic
  • Ensures quality control with a quick turnaround
  • Stays current on competitive landscape, including e-commerce, email marketing and social campaigns
  • High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Bridge
