About Ogilvy

Ogilvy was founded in 1948 by David Ogilvy. David created a culture that deeply respects and cares about its people and clients. Our mission is to inspire people and brands to make an impact and we are committed to attracting, growing, and retaining the best talent in the industry.

About the Role

As the Early Talent Development lead, this person will help shape and run our US Early Talent programs under the People Experience team for The Ogilvy Group, which is inclusive of Ogilvy, Ogilvy Health and Grey. This individual will run the end-to-end employee life cycle of early talent, with a specific focus on our flagship programs (Ogilvy Residency and Summer Internship), including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, development and more. This is a uniquely hybrid role operating as part strategic partner, part operator. You will set and continuously improve the strategy and design for these programs and early talent overall, while running the day-to-day program operations.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead Early Talent Recruitment efforts across the U.S.
    • Develop and execute recruitment strategy including campus and always-on engagement, partnership management, and third-party job board presence to build talent pipelines
    • Own key external relationships (universities, portfolio schools, professional organizations and community partners) to drive visibility through information sessions, site visits, and more
    • Partner with the US Talent Acquisition team to manage Early Talent applications through Greenhouse (internal applicant tracking system)
    • Build and maintain talent pipelines to proactively identify and match candidates to emerging entry-level needs across the business
    • Monitor recruitment performance and business needs to refine strategies and evolve program offerings
  • Lead Ogilvy Residency and Summer Internship Program application processes
    • Oversee the full application, assessment, and interview processes for The Ogilvy Residency and Internship Programs, including briefing business leads, delegating application review, and managing interview scheduling and evaluation materials
    • Partner cross-functionally with People Operations, HRIS, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and other key People Partners to execute key new hire and onboarding processes (i.e. generating offer letters, securing technology, I-9 verifications)
    • Support project management of Ogilvy’s flagship Super Saturday recruiting event, leading planning, communications and day-of execution (i.e. travel and expenses, strategizing and preparing assessment materials, securing volunteers and providing day-of support)
  • Lead program management for Ogilvy Residency and Summer Internship Programs in partnership with manager and team
    • Manage day-to-day program operations for the Residency and Summer Internship
    • Manage employee relations in partnership and with support from the team, helping to navigate performance conversations, coaching moments, and escalations for Residents and Interns
    • Lead ongoing engagement touchpoints, including hosting Resident and Intern check-ins, monthly meetups and manager briefings
    • Co-design and execute mentorship programming, collaborating with business leaders to integrate early talent into client teams
    • Support placement processes for both programs, partnering with Resource Management to understand business needs, assess candidate strengths, and match talent to appropriate teams.
    • Manage logistics of learning curriculums, in partnership with the People Experience and Learning & Development team, by identifying key areas for growth, ideating programming, identifying facilitators and overseeing scheduling and communications
    • Maintain program infrastructure, including OneDrive database, program trackers, etc.
What You’ll Need
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills and organization
  • Strong presenter and communicator with ability to influence junior and senior stakeholders over time
  • Ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across both all levels
  • Commitment to inclusion and a true passion to look at programs through an inclusive lens
  • Ability to navigate quickly changing environments in partnership with all levels of leaders
  • Hunger to learn and willingness to support not only big picture projects, but manage and execute the smallest details of projects
  • Curious and open mindset
  • Solution-oriented and values proactivity
  • Ready and willing to try new things or raise their hand
