JOB SUMMARY:
 

The Technical Architect at Argano plays a crucial role in managing the technical track on client engagements. This position involves defining the technical architecture, researching, and proposing new technologies, and ensuring the performance and scalability of applications. They are responsible for providing deep technical expertise in designing and implementing solutions that meet client needs. This position leads efforts to support the diverse business needs of each client and the implementations of various applications utilizing Argano proprietary tools and methodology. Functions as a team leader for small to large projects and performs varied and complex duties and tasks needing independent judgment to implement Argano's products and technology to meet client needs.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Responsible for assisting in the establishment of an Argano Technical Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology.

·         Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

·         Define and document the technical architecture for client projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.

·         Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance the performance and scalability of applications.

·         Lead technical discussions with clients and internal stakeholders to communicate complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

·         Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

·         Coach/mentor others to improve their knowledge/skills and lead technical staff.

·         Develop and migrate to new technologies of information systems and functionality, identify strategies and opportunities for innovation and automation.

·         Coordinate and provide leadership in development of project plans, analysis, design, and development of complex mission-critical project implementation.

·         Solution best practices to operationally monitor technical interfaces and extensions.

·         Recommend technical architecture and middleware for each Client situation and be able to present and discuss the solution with C-Level staff

·         Ensure design/solution is strictly maintained and enhancements are documented clearly, approved, and communicated to all client users including C-level executives through extensive version control management.

·         Analyze/research for workarounds and design Extensions / custom solutions to system for requirements that cannot be met with standard solutions.

·         Work with business users to test entire process after completing development and resolve all issues reported by users.

·         Document that proper coding standards and best practices are used for development and version control and clear instructions produced for migrating into the final/production environment after complete testing, using Argano standards.

 

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Software Engineering or a related field.

 

EXPERIENCE:

·         5-10 years of experience in software development and architecture.

·         Proven track record of designing and implementing complex technical solutions.

·         Experience in client-facing roles, with a focus on understanding and meeting client needs.

·         Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, architecture, and best practices.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

SKILL REQUIREMENTS ·
 

·         Strong IT Knowledge: Understanding of various technology stacks, platforms, and frameworks.

·         Programming: Proficiency in one or more programming languages and the ability to understand and write code.

·         Architecture Design: Proven experience in defining and designing technical architectures for client engagements. Ability to create comprehensive architectural documentation and diagrams.

·         Analytical and Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.

·         Client Engagement: Ability to collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and challenges. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

·         Project Management: Ability to assist in project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.

·         Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.

·         Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, project managers, and other architects.
