NOTE: The role is based in NYC and requires following Scholastic’s hybrid in-office policy.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The eCommerce Marketer serves a critical role on the Digital Services Content Operations Team, bringing multi-channel marketing strategies to life. Reporting to the Director of eCommerce marketing, in this role you will develop, execute, and analyze cross-channel campaigns aimed to drive traffic and revenue. The ideal candidate for this role is a collaborative team player with prior digital marketing experience for an eCommerce retailer, crafting and delivering campaigns for email, social, and content channels.  Being analytically minded, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a difference is a must for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Development: Assist in planning and creating campaigns across various channels including email, content, social media, and paid efforts

Campaign Execution: Coordinate campaign execution efforts across teams including eCommerce, design, and channel marketing

Data Analysis and Reporting: Track campaign performance, analyze results, and generate reports to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

  • Enthusiastic team-player and self-starter that enjoys owning an effort and driving it to completion 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for marketing creative and copy-writing

  • Must be highly organized with excellent project management skills, having the ability to juggle multiple workflows and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to establish goals and set clear expectations, prioritize activities, and follow through to completion

  • Eagerness to identify and implement new opportunities throughout the customer journey to deliver excellent customer interactions across touchpoints

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including problem resolution and coordination across teams

  • Flexibility and adaptability to adjust and alter approach promptly and efficiently, when needed

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and programs

Preferred Skills and Knowledge (not required for consideration):

  • Experience with web platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager or similar

  • Experience with project tracking tools such as Jira, etc.

  • Experience with analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce or related direct-to-consumer digital marketing

Education: Undergraduate degree in marketing, business, or related field
