This role is a dynamic product management position within Citi's global Payments organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of eCommerce trends, developments, and their impact on client needs and opportunities. It involves collaboration across multiple product, sales, risk, and compliance groups, as well as external partners and geographies, to deliver solutions that meet our clients' eCommerce needs. They will engage with clients to drive commercial agendas and deepen Citi's understanding of their evolving requirements. It offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of Citi's eCommerce solution for the future.

As a key leader in a transformative initiative to enhance Citi's offerings for eCommerce clients, the incumbent will be an integral member of our eCommerce and Banking as a Service (BaaS) team, focusing on the design and development of innovative payments and accounts solutions. These solutions will target our existing eCommerce clients and expand our reach to traditional clients seeking to grow their eCommerce presence.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with product colleagues, sales teams, technology partners, regional stakeholders, Risk and Compliance departments, and, most importantly, our clients, to design and deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Focus: Identify and prioritize client needs and product requirements through close collaboration with sales, clients, and both internal and external partners.

  • Solution Design & Development: Lead the end-to-end solution design, product development, and ongoing enhancements in collaboration with product teams, technology, external partners, and other functions, including partnerships, risk, and compliance.

  • Strategic Prioritization: Clearly define and communicate product priorities based on the overall product vision and specific client needs. Ensure alignment among all stakeholders.

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Actively manage multiple initiatives and deliverables throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to launch, including supporting commercialization and go-to-market strategies.

  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify emerging eCommerce use cases and opportunities for innovation.

  • Product Enhancement: Drive product enhancements and updates to the product vision/roadmap to maximize client satisfaction and improve overall business outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's/University degree required; Master's degree preferred.

  • Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience in digital payments and eCommerce.

  • Product Development Expertise: Demonstrated experience in product development and product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching new products in a large and complex organization.

  • Analytical Skills: Intellectual curiosity, analytical, and conceptual thinking abilities. A proactive approach to identifying and developing new opportunities.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate both tactical and technical concepts to a wide range of audiences.

  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational, project management, and process management abilities.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent team working and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse teams.

  • Adaptability: Comfort and ability to effectively deal with ambiguity. Ability to apply ingenuity and creativity to problem analysis and resolution in complicated and novel situations.

  • Execution Focus: A strong emphasis on "getting it done" and building effective intercompany relationships. Ability to balance collaboration with a focus on execution in a complex, matrixed environment.

  • Technical Knowledge: Technical knowledge and experience engaging with second-line functions such as Legal, Risk, and Controls is a plus.

  • Presentation Skills: Experience and confidence in delivering compelling presentations to clients and senior managers.
