We are committed to teaching our audience real-life solutions by giving them tools to create happy, healthy homes through our award-winning brands: Apartment Therapy, The Kitchn, Cubby, and Dorm Therapy. Together, our portfolio engages a monthly audience of 47 million users across platforms, while our dedicated team of over 140 professionals collaborates from our sunny New York City office and locations across the U.S. and around the globe.

  • Pitch and produce at least 2 trending stories every week
  • Refresh archival and produce new SEO content, following best practices for optimization and editorial standards

  • Contribute ideas to team brainstorms and pitch sessions
  • Assist in managing editorial calendars
  • Monitor performance of edit content using Parse.ly
  • Manage the general editorial inbox
  • Attend events as needed

Requirements:

  • 1 year experience in digital media and/or publishing (focus on food content a plus)
  • Strong writing skills and voice, with the ability to speak to the home cook like a friend
  • Top-notch organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • A team player with a desire to collaborate across teams
  • An astute awareness of internet trends, pop culture, and the cultural zeitgeist, especially as it relates to food and cooking
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and quickly shift in the face of new information and under tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work within technical systems/content management systems (CMS)
  • Passion for food and cooking

Salary Range: $55,000 - 60,000
