Electrical Engineer/Drafter

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $800 - $1,200 (Negotiable for highly qualified candidates)

Work Schedule:

  • Time Range: Between 7 AM and 7 PM CST

  • Working Hours: 9 hours per day (8 working hours + 1-hour break)

  • Days Off: TBD (2 days per week)

About the Role

We're hiring a remote Electrical Engineer/Drafter with 5+ years of experience in electrical design, construction documentation, and advanced Revit Electrical modeling. You'll develop detailed electrical drawings and BIM models, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate, code-compliant project delivery.


Candidates must be highly proficient in Revit Electrical, including power distribution, lighting systems, panel schedules, conduit routing, and equipment layouts. Experience with U.S.-based projects and U.S. electrical codes is a strong plus, but not required.


Core Responsibilities

Electrical Modeling and Documentation

  • Develop electrical BIM models and construction documentation, including permit, shop, and construction drawings.

  • Ensure compliance with project standards and applicable electrical codes.

  • Maintain organized BIM documentation and project files.

Coordination and Collaboration

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams throughout all project phases.

  • Support project coordination and clash detection workflows.


Candidate Qualifications

Must-Haves

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical drafting and design.

  • Advanced proficiency in Revit Electrical (mandatory), including power distribution, lighting systems, panel schedules, and conduit routing.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Good to Haves

  • Experience with U.S.-based projects and familiarity with U.S. electrical codes and construction practices.

System Requirements

  • Desktop or laptop with Intel Core i7 or higher / AMD Ryzen 7 or higher.

  • NVIDIA RTX 3060 or higher (Ampere or Ada Lovelace architecture).

  • Minimum 32 GB RAM.
