What We're Looking For:

Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates components, PCB assemblies and processes used in development of RFID Products. Determines design approaches and parameters.
Analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experiments.
This role is a hybrid position and requires a minimum of three days per week in our Holtsville, NY office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, and tests on a variety of electrical engineering assignments that constitute a portion of a larger project.
• Develops and tests documentation which describes the specific electrical functionality.– Participates and provides some input in project code reviews.
• Runs tests designed by more experienced engineers.
• Reviews test results and perform root cause analyses to identify problems.
• Provides recommendations and implements solutions to complex issues. Insures compliance with quality process and standards.
• Makes changes to or upgrades existing electrical designs. Enhances and improves existing technologies to apply to new solutions.
• Makes and implements recommendations to immediate team to enhance performance and improve productivity.
• Seeks out new tools to analyze and solve problems.
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Receives general instructions on routine work, new projects or assignments.
• May provide guidance to non-exempt personnel.
• Builds productive working relationships internally and externally.
• Primary intra-organizational with occasional inter-organizational and external customer contacts on routine matters.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 2+ year experience or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and 1+ year experience
• Experience in Analog and Digital circuit design
• Experience with embedded design and signal integrity is highly desired.
• Experience in generating schematics using Cadence Allegro (or similar software) schematic capture and supports PCB layout is highly desired.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with embedded microprocessors/Microcontrollers such as ST Micro STM32H750 type devices and associated SDRAM and Flash Memory
• WIFI, Bluetooth, RF experience a plus
• Experienced with PSPICE and familiar with FPGA and using C, VHDL/Verilog
• Experienced with or willing to learn basic RF, Compliance requirements and mitigation of EMI, ESD, Immunity issues.
• Experience working with internal cross-functional teams and external JDMs/CMs to successfully bring RFID products to market.
• Knowledgeable about USB, Ethernet, serial interfaces, audio and video interfaces

Pay Range:

$76,640.00 - $114,960.00 Annual

Incentive Compensation:

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 10% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
