BGS is seeking an Electrical Technical Designer to join our P-8 Increment 3 Block 2 program in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you assist in the integration and modification of aircraft wiring for the P-8 platform, with a focus on supporting the INC 3 Block 2 modification program. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and technical subject matter experts to ensure superior capability and performance of the aircraft. Position Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for the modification, troubleshooting, and resolution of wire routing and installation issues for the P-8 aircraft, focusing on the I3B2 modification program
  • Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Supports analysis and design review boards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and assess I3B2 program modification performance to ensure seamless mod incorporation onto the aircraft platform with particular focus on optimization of wire routing and installation
  • Support troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve test failures during the modification program
  • Work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and technical contractors to diagnose wiring issues, define technical solutions, and communicate progress and updates related to aircraft modifications and support
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to provide guidance during modification planning and execution phases

Basic Qualifications:
  • Two years' experience in wire design, wire installation or in working with electrical equipment
  • Experience to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present technical information in a clear and concise manner

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Three plus years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Active Security Clearance
  • Experience on an Electrical Corrective Action Team
  • Prior Aircraft Electrician experience
  • Experience working on P-8 Increment 3 Block 2 (I3B2) or similar modification programs
  • Familiarity with technical aspects of the 737 and/or P-8 platform and its wire design

Summary Pay Range for Associate (Level 2): $56,950 - $77,050
Summary Pay Range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $68,850 - $93,150
