Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a junior associate to join its rapidly growing Emerging Companies & Venture Capital group in the New York office. The practice focuses on representing innovative companies and their founders throughout their lifecycle (business formation, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions) as well as the funds that invest in them.  Clients range from newly-formed startups to multi-billion dollar technology market leaders. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience, preferably at a comparable law firm.  Candidates must also have stellar academic credentials and references, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills, math and Excel skills, and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships. NY bar admission is required.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a collegial office environment while working closely with experienced practitioners on sophisticated matters at a national level. Compensation range: $235,000 to $390,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
