Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Responsible for market making bonds in emerging markets fixed income products. Manage bank's risk positions and exposure. Commercialize and market JPMorgan emerging market credit capabilities to US and global clients. Share market views and information to various JPM businesses. Assist in exploring new ventures and products to expand the business. Assist in scouting and hiring new talent to the team. Mentor and train junior team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Applied & Computational Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, or related field of study plus 8 years of experience in the job offered or as Emerging Markets Credit Trader - Executive Director, Vice President/Associate - Credit Trading/Sales, Capital Markets Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires 8 years of experience with the following: maintaining client relationships through daily chats, emails, and phone calls; mentoring and training junior bank employees. Requires 7 years of experience with the following: utilizing knowledge of a bank's internal risk systems and procedures to manage book and team risk. Requires 3 years of experience with the following: working on government bonds and derivatives in Latin America including researching, pricing, and educating global clients, as well as internal employees, on emerging market bonds; providing liquidity and pricing to both retail and institutional clients across a variety of Latin American countries.
Job Location: 383 Madison Ave., New York, NY 10179. Telecommuting permitted up to 20% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $350,000 - $350,000 per year.
