Emerging Technologies Associate - (Hybrid: Oakland, CA; Orange, CA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Portland, OR; New York, NY - US)

We are looking to fill an Emerging Technologies Associate position as part of our Business Strategy Department. The primary role for this position is to manage and process files from market actors and manage qualified sales submission to help drive energy savings and carbon reduction. The Business Strategy Associate will work the Product Management Team and Trade Ally Management Team to develop and operationalize a new process to capture and validate claims that drive high-impact energy efficiency programs.
As a member of the Energy Solutions team, you will have a broad impact on energy efficiency markets and greenhouse gas reductions through our work for North American Program Administrators and other national leaders in energy efficiency. The person filling this role will be required to work in a hybrid work environment in one of our 6 office locations; Oakland, CA ; Orange, CA ; Boston, MA ; Chicago, IL ; Portland, OR ; and New York, NY and expected to be in the office a minimum of once a week.
Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring the progress of projects and communicating progress to management and clients
- Technology research, energy savings calculations and analysis
- Regular client interaction
- Assisting with program design and implementation
- Identification and scheduling of resources to complete projects
- Organization and facilitation of in-person meetings and conference calls
- Maintain tracking related to partnerships and program participation metrics
Minimum qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree OR a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related position in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability in regard to project focus
- Demonstrated commitment to and consistency in quality control practices
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work and thrive independently and juggle multiple competing priorities
- Proactive and collaborative problem-solving approach
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- This will be a hybrid role with the expectation of working from one of our 6 office locations, a minimum of one day per week.
The salary range for this role is $60,000–$70,000/annually with a target compensation of $60,000 - $66,500/annually based on experience and qualifications

Office Locations and a Remote Workforce
Energy Solutions operates as a predominantly remote workforce with offices in six different locations. Employees who reside within 40 miles of an office (except New York) will be assigned to that location, though in-office attendance requirements may vary by team.
