Responsibilities:
- Participate in the EMI test reviews.
- Set up the Equipment Under Test (EUT) and related test cables as defined in the Electromagnetic Interference Test Procedure (EMITP) and/or as directed by the EMI Engineer.
- Initiate and maintain an EMI Test Log.
- Provide operation of the EMI test equipment in accordance with the EMITP.
- Initiate and maintain an EMI Test Notebook containing EMI data sheets, EMI checklists, EMI Test Data and other pertinent test information.
- Complete the test data sheet as defined by the EMITP.
- Disassemble and/or store the EMI test method equipment upon test method completion and review.
- Disassemble and/or store the EMI test setup upon test completion and review of all testing.
- Maintain an organized and clean test area.
- Troubleshoot problem areas regarding test failures, etc.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Associate's Degree in Engineering
- Working knowledge of electronic circuits (analog, digital and power) and experience working with a large array of electronic instruments.
- Candidate must be organized, flexible, and able to multitask in a dynamic team environment.
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio.
- Work off-shifts as necessary, including overtime and weekends
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in test to MIL-STD-461 (A-G), RTCA/DO-160 (C-G). Relevant test experience with Boeing specification D6-16050-4(A-F).
- Associates degree in Electronics Technology with minimum of 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent. Equivalent military training and work experience in the EMI discipline may be considered.
- Strong knowledge of RF principals, RF Engineering with an emphasis in EMI engineering
- Familiarity with all EMI test requirements, and test equipment (such as antennas, spectrum analyzers, power amplifiers).
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and follow: schematics, engineering drawings, circuit layouts, and parts lists; cable harnesses: wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and parts lists; mechanical assemblies: mechanical drawings and parts lists
- Full understanding and application of Radiated Susceptibility, Conducted Susceptibility, Radiated Emissions, Conducted Emissions, Lightning, HIRF and other specialty EMI test configurations, elements and requirements.
