The Role
Bright Power is seeking a skilled Energy Markets Analyst to join the Energy Procurement Team. The ideal candidate has client-facing experience, energy management skills and a drive to get things done. In this position you will manage large datasets, coordinate with clients, and facilitate energy supply contracts. In addition, you will learn about the energy industry, and be part of a larger team effort to educate others on the energy market.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and organize large quantities of account information
- Update and maintain opportunities and contracts through Salesforce and other platforms
- Coordinate and collaborate with team members
- Communicate internally with other teams at Bright Power
- Create and present client deliverables
- Effectively communicate with clients and channel partners
- Detail oriented contract reading and editing
- Monitor contract expirations and progress towards contract renewals
- Leverage Bright Power’s contacts to generate new business for the Energy Procurement Team
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Finance, Economics, Sustainability, or related field
- Analyst experience in the Energy industry or related field
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Salesforce
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Ability to work well on a fast-paced team
- Strong attention to detail Preferred Qualifications
- Beginner knowledge of MySQL
- Experience producing and presenting deliverables to clients
- Understanding of the energy markets
- Experience managing an RFP process
- Previous outreach experience
Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000
