Work to improve existing designs, responding to manufacturing and production support. Daily opportunities to work hands-on with electronics, computers, in-house and third-party designed equipment in a lab environment. May telecommute part-time.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
Position requires:
1. C including low-level bit level manipulation.
2. C++ and STL familiarity.
3. Python.
4. Comprehend schematics to provide design feedback.
5. Analog and digital circuitry components (including power supplies), how they form a circuit and system, and how software interacts with analog and digital circuitry
6. Debug complex systems and lower-level sub-systems.
7. CPU, computer architecture aspects, and operation of microcontrollers.
8. PCB layout/construction to identify components, signals, and planes for debugging
9. Electronic lab equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, frequency counter, or SMU)
