This product and the platform it operates on is a complex and feature-rich distributed data system which we offer as a multi-cloud SaaS solution to our clients.

We have invested in security since the inception of the company and are proud of our investment to date and that we are SOC2 Type II, GDPR, CCPA and EU Privacy Shield compliant. As we grow, we are seeking a Director of Security to lead our company-wide information security strategy and implementation. The successful candidate will report to the VP Engineering and work closely with company leadership and each of our internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own the definition and execution of our Security strategy and underlying policies
  • Interface with clients and/or sales teams to demonstrate our security expertise
  • Manage relationships with security vendors and partners
  • Work with IT to audit systems and ensure compliance
  • Develop and deliver security education to employees

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in information security or cybersecurity or similar role
  • Experience leading staff and vendors/partners
  • Ability to design and implement technical security solutions
  • Experience managing solutions in various environments such as end-user, server/network, and public cloud
  • Understanding of and experience with industry and regulatory standards such as PCI, SOC2, ISO27001
  • Knowledge of designing comprehensive security programs for SaaS applications and Corporate environments including Security Assessments, Penetration Tests, Risk Management, Threat Modeling and Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Incident and Response, Security Training, Privacy and Compliance Programs
  • Comfortable speaking as a Security leader to internal groups and external stakeholders - clients, conferences etc.
  • Certified in at least one of the following:
    • CISSP
    • CISM
    • SANS Security Certification
