About Springtide Child Development

Springtide is a VC-backed rapidly-growing company that offers family-centered care for children with autism and other developmental delays. Our experienced, interdisciplinary team works collaboratively to develop personalized care plans and evidence-based treatments all while using digital tools to transform the way behavioral care is delivered. We offer ABA, speech, occupational and physical therapies as well as social skills classes, functional living skills training, school readiness training, language acquisition and family coaching all in one place to improve the lives of our children and their families!

As our Director of Software Engineering, you will provide leadership and hands-on execution of building our software stack. You’ll be managing our software design, development, testing and deployment. You’ll be responsible for defining software development processes and timelines and build a team that will execute against them. 

You will report to and work with the CEO at our New York City headquarters.

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with the product team to maintain an ambitious product roadmap
  • Hire talented software engineers and software engineering managers and mentor them to success. 
  • Design core software services stack for a rapidly scaling business.
  • Define and execute effective product and infrastructure development processes.
  • Build the company smart data stack for better medical service
  • Build organizational BI dashboard.
  • Integrate API from 3rd party service to provide one holistic operational code for Springtide teams.
  • Operate according modern software testing models to ensure top notch quality.
  • Support Sales and Marketing software development and integration needs. 
  • Deploy our software to the cloud and work with Devops and IT to closely monitor uptime, latency and security threats.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance software and products 

What you'll need:

  • Background 
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably at a high growth start-up and Healthtech
  • Technical Skills 
    • Experience with:  
      • Golang
      • Microservices
      • Kubernetes
      • Google Cloud Platform
      • Networking (HTTP and GRPC)
      • Relational databases and SQL (Postgres/MySQL)
      • ETL and BI design 
    • 3+ years  experience of software teams management.
    • Knowledge in software architecture patterns
    • Proven experience in building high scale data bound software
