How you'd be making home ownership achievable:

• Working with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, designers, and business leads to build products that modernize the home buying process and make it fair for all
• Leading the Ribbon Homeselling engineering team 
• Coaching and mentoring engineers to help them do their best work
• Owning the implementation of features throughout their entire lifecycle from ideation to ship

Who you are:

• You encourage practices where engineers design and write code that is scalable, performant, and easy for your teammates to build upon and maintain

• Back-end: Python, Django, GraphQL

What you will do:

• Lead the Homeselling engineering team through the implementation of the product roadmap to enable Listing Agents and Homesellers to make the most informed decision when accepting offers that blend price with certainty
• Recognize exceptional talent and hire a top tier Homeselling engineering team who each make project impact within the first 3 months of hire
• Partner with Product Management, Product Design, and cross functional teams to define the product strategy for the Homeselling experience
• Introduce impactful features onto the product roadmap
• Facilitate technical architecture and design of the Homeselling code base
• Implement development best practices that will reduce the number of post production defects and improve code quality 
• Implement testing best practices that will reduce the number of post production defects across all device types (web, mobile web, native mobile app)
• Provide coaching and mentorship to team by providing challenging work, regular feedback, and fostering an environment where everyone can do their best work as measured by employee NPS, team retrospectives and feedback
• Set project goals, facilitate success, and unblock team impediments
