You will…

  • Manage, organize, and grow a high-performing team of software engineers
  • Mentor and support your team
  • Be responsible for the happiness, success, and personal development of your team
  • Inspire, empower and challenge your team to be their best
  • Work with the product team to help inform priorities and refine stories in the backlog
  • Diligently manage and reduce technical debt across the code base
  • Facilitate design meetings and advocate for the use of patterns and best practices

You have…

  • 8+ years of commercial software development experience, with 3+ years of engineering management experience
  • B.S. / M.S. / Ph.D. / A.B.D. in computer science, physics, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, or a related degree, or other significant experience
  • Fluency:
    • 8+ years of experience developing in C# or Java
    • 8+ years of experience with SQL databases

What does your typical day look like?

A typical day usually consists of attending our daily stand-ups, whiteboarding/collaborating with other software engineers on items that are in our current sprint/backlog, and coding either independently or through pair programming with others.
