Engineering Manager - Remote
Who we are
WW's Program Engineering team is seeking an Engineering Manager. This team is responsible for the digital experience guiding our members throughout their weight loss journey. We build high-traffic APIs, internal tools, and customer-facing UX to support the Food Data, Search & Tracking, Activity Devices, and Program Innovation teams.
What you will do
As an Engineering Manager, you will partner closely with Product, Data Science and Design to establish product roadmaps. You are a role model for engineers as a technical mentor as well as embody and propagate our company culture. You promote the career development of your direct reports. You effectively communicate key initiatives, set clear expectations and hold engineers accountable.
Who you are
- Experience leading a highly-functional team of engineers
- Strong coding ability and champion of clean performant code
- Strong understanding of code patterns and architectural patterns of high-traffic services and event-driven systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
- Extensive knowledge of the JavaScript ecosystem, containerized environments and related technologies
- Experience with search engines a plus
Base salary may vary depending on, but not limited to: skills, experience, and location.
Base Salary
$150,000/yr to $195,000/yr
