Joining Collibra’s Operations and Excellence team:

  • The Operations and Excellence team’s mission is to increase customer satisfaction and operational efficiency by critically evaluating, evolving and influencing our systems and processes through accessible, meaningful and data-backed insights. 
  • As our Enterprise Architect, Production Engineering you will set standards and you will drive our technical strategy on Product Delivery, Site Reliability Engineering and Infrastructure Engineering.

The Enterprise Architect, Production Engineer is responsible for:

  • Supplying practical architecture leadership, direction and mentoring to our Production Engineering team while closely advising and collaborating with our Product and Engineering Leads to guarantee the delivery of high-performance, robust, secure, and scalable solutions
  • Collaborating cross functionally to gather all requirements leading to the best architectural choices and naturally defend or compromise for a solution satisfying all parties.
  • Explaining the methods employed and the rationale behind the software architecture of our product and services in a way that inspires technical teams to build solutions adapted to the business of our customers.
  • Quickly recognizing needs to adjust our architecture based on technology evolution, product team requests or new markets conditions.

You Have:

  • Designed, executed, released and supported highly reliable (high quality, security, performance) cloud native software products and services in a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Experience architecting scalable solutions for business problems with multiple stakeholders and conflicting interests
  • Knowledge of architectural best practices for reliable, secure, cloud-native, distributed systems
  • Lead technical teams in an Agile, DevOps, and SaaS environments
  • A bachelor's degrees or 8+ years of equivalent experience

  • Analytical, priority focused, a strong verbal and written communicator
  • Intuitive, able to take conflicting perspectives and missing information to make quick decisions that demonstrate exceptional judgement 
  • Hands-on with technical details and troubleshooting when needed
  • A mentor, the go-to for architects and engineers when they’re facing tough problems

Measuring Success:

Reporting to Collibra’s Vice President of Operations and Excellence, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will present your observations and 90-day Plan
  • Within your third month, you will present a roadmap for Production Engineering through EOY
  • Within your sixth month, you will be actively engaging with Customers and cross-functional Partners, serving as the authoritative technical voice for Collibra’s Production Engineering initiatives
