The Particle team is looking for a seasoned Implementation Engineer to work closely with our new and existing clients, facilitating their technical onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support. You will work closely with our Customer Success and Engineering teams, serving as the technical expert to make sure clients are delighted and engaged with our suite of products.

A successful implementation engineer will not necessarily be an existing expert in every possible system, but they will be an expert at learning new ones quickly. Each integration will be a unique challenge to apply previous learnings towards.

Previous healthcare/health IT integrations experience, particularly working with APIs and/or healthcare data interoperability, is encouraged.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and development of client integrations focused on quickly integrating new customers onto the Particle Health API
  • Own evolving our integration playbooks & tooling to develop a scalable and repeatable process
  • Communicate directly with clients to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Work to identify technical risks and devise mitigation strategies in anticipation of customer needs
  • Investigate and triage user-reported bugs our structured logging, tracing and metrics infrastructure
  • Opportunity to contribute to our core APIs as well

Qualifications

  • BA or BS; computer science, mathematics, or related field preferred
  • 4+ years of deep technical experience, as well as, experience in a client facing role
  • Experience working with modern web services, APIs and SDKs
  • Previous experience working with healthcare data and/or EMRs
  • Experience with backend/system languages such as Go, C++, Java, Rust, and Python
  • Located or willing to work in NYC
  • The ability to support and collaborate with multiple teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Location

Particle has an office on 20th, close to Union Square, Gramercy, and everything in between. There's a solid group who come in regularly, but we are primarily a remote-first company.
