We are looking for an exceptional Engineering Managers to lead our teams. This is a great opportunity for someone that enjoys leading a small team while spending most of their time writing and reading code. In addition to focusing on engineering excellence, you’ll partner with Product and other teammates across the organization to define and manage our technical roadmap.

What you'll do:

• Lead an agile team of full-stack developers working on user-facing product initiatives
• Mentor teammates in agile software development theory and practices
• Work closely with Product Management and stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and deliver scalable and reliable products
• Drive feature development from the ground up
• Improve technical systems scaling to better serve our customers
• Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of team members
• Work with Recruiting to grow the team, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
• Propose and guide workflow changes to increase productivity and quality
• Own the operational health of your teams through monitoring of key performance indicators
• Follow the DevOps best practices of ensuring we have a timely and reliable incident response process, while also tending to our resilient test/build/deploy pipeline which avoids creating those incidents in the first place
• Understand the underpinnings of what your team is working on sufficient to represent that work to the organization
• Help drive our Engineering team culture as defined by our team values.

Who you are:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience architecting, building, and scaling products
• 2+ years of experience leading projects
• Strong understanding of the web applications stack and SQL
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Demonstrated history of mentorship and people development skills
