NoCode, a student-led society for no-code learning and development, is looking for students interested in tech, entrepreneurship, business, and startups to help build a chapter on their campus!
Each chapter helps college students without any coding experience build apps for themselves and even clients. You can check out what NoCode@UCLA students have been building over at nocodeclub.org.
Bubble has partnered with NoCode to help them expand to other colleges. We’re offering a free summer no-code crash course, along with $200 and further resources to help students jumpstart their chapter this following academic year.

According to Senior Software Engineer Cal Lavicka, Cross-functional collaboration at Bubble makes cutting-edge solutions possible. Lavicka is working alongside the company’s designers to build a design system for Bubble’s editor code. “Modern tooling that’s emerged in frontend will allow our engineers and designers to work faster and easier,” he said. Even beyond the code and architecture, Lavicka appreciates the opportunity to collaborate: “One of my favorite things at Bubble has been working closely with our designers, and this project definitely allows that.”

A Lively Office Environment

“Bubble encourages employees to self-organize activities, which are enthusiastically received,” Grace said. Hong goes into the New York City office daily, where she enjoys going on ice cream outings to Caffe Panna in the summer and partnering with her colleagues year-round. “Everyone at Bubble is incredibly down to earth and easy to approach,” she said. This ease and comfort was on display at Bubble’s team week, when all Bubblers gathered to enjoy collaboration and karaoke — building bonds that benefit the team, especially in a distributed environment.

Bubble’s culture is refreshing because I never feel stuck — when I have a question, I know that I can rely on getting an answer and moving forward with my project.

When Senior Product Manager Alex Bolanos first joined Bubble, the company had fewer than 15 employees. As the company has grown, so have her opportunities. “I attribute a lot of my own personal growth to the countless opportunities that I’ve had to work with other teammates and learn from them,” she said. “Individuals feel empowered to contribute their unique perspectives, work together to innovate and ultimately drive the success of the company as a team.” Bolanos continues to find opportunities for cross-functional collaboration as she advances with the support of Bubble’s leadership and values.
