QA Analyst
Hinge is looking for a QA Analyst to join the team. As a QA Analyst, you will provide invaluable support by manually testing our products as well as investigating potential bugs reported to Hinge member services from our vast and blossoming user base. We are looking for someone with an innate curiosity for technology in all forms, and a knack for unearthing and recreating tricky bugs.
Responsibilities
- Execute regression and smoke testing suites during release cycles
- Test newly implemented features against functional specs and designs
- Clearly, document discovered bugs with detailed steps to reproduce
- Investigate issues reported to Hinge Member Services by beta testers and Hinge users
- Increase the efficiency of our manual QA processes by drafting and refining test suite flows
About You
- 1-3 years experience QA testing mobile apps
- Take pleasure in breaking software in common and obscure ways
- Stellar communication when it comes to reporting bugs and explaining functional specifications to the team
- An affinity for the nitty-gritty of mobile, web, and other technologies
Objectives in the first three months
- Become an expert on the Hinge mobile apps, inside and out
- Use hands-on knowledge of our apps to be a go-to resource for feature related questions
- Synthesize a comprehensive test suite for a new feature
- Own QA sign-off for a major release on iOS and Android
