As a QA Automation Engineer on the Video team, you will be responsible for contributing to the Automation test strategy, scripting and running tests, and reporting results across the Video Platform. You will work within multiple-contexts and collaborate with other Test Automators, QA Analysts, Product Leads, and Software Engineers. The ideal candidate will be a technically savvy critical thinker, with diligence, and passion for creating great tests, optimizing test coverage, and delivering high-quality release candidate builds and production deployments.

What you'll do:

• Contribute to Test Strategy, write and run tests across various components of the Video Platform
• Run diagnostics and effectively report discovered issues to the Video Engineering Team
• Create robust, flexible Automated Test Suites to be run within a Continuous-Integration Workflow
• Collaborate with various teams and gain an understanding of the full-scope of the Video Platform

What we’re expecting:

• 2 + years of Automated Software Testing Experience (Video Software a plus)
• Proficiency creating Automated Test Scripts in Python, Java, Javascript, or other languages
• Proficiency with Test Frameworks such as Selenium, PyTest and/or Appium
• Proficiency in providing clear Automated Results Reports based on test cycles
• Experience with CI environments such as Travis or Jenkins
• Excellent communication skills and ability to capture and provide supporting data
• Comfortable collaborating with other Testers, Software Engineers, and Product Leads
• Experience with Testing Tools such as Developer Tools, Proxies, and custom Test Harnesses
• Experience with Windows, Android, macOS, iOS systems, and TV Platforms
• Ability to recognize and run diagnosis on Visual and Technical Issues
• Creative thinking to optimize test approach and efficiency
