We are looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our rapidly growing engineering team at our headquarters in Manhattan, New York. This is a hands on position for a Ruby on Rails expert. This role will be be focused primarily on developing and optimizing the Freshly website.

Our platform includes an e-commerce website, customer support system, and internal tools to support our unique real-time food production process at a high and constantly growing scale. Our team is dedicated to crafting high quality, reliable, maintainable code that delivers the best possible experience for our customers.

About You:

• You have several years of production experience with Ruby on Rails applications.
• You are well versed in performance tuning, caching, and search engine optimization.
• You can build responsive designs on semantic HTML pages.
• You have implemented Accelerated Mobile Pages.
• You have worked with and implemented a brand style guide.
• You have a dedication to writing quality code.
• You have experience creating automated integration tests.
• Experience upgrading Rails applications (especially 4 to 5) a huge plus!
