Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for DevOps Engineers to help build world-class people software that delights our customers.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring on design, code, and instrumentation of DevOps best practices. You’ll be joining a small but mighty team where you can help to drive both the mission and technical direction of ChartHop. You’ll be working on a modern stack (Kotlin, React, MongoDB, AWS) while helping pave the way for containerization and scalability.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Help create a culture around transparency and knowledge sharing. 
• Write configuration management (Ansible, Cloudformation, Terraform)
• Assist in recruiting/ screening efforts
• Assist in day to day issues around application and infrastructure support. 
• Deliver realistic estimates around work, and work autonomously to deliver committed work on deadline
• Write documentation and runbooks to help transfer knowledge and keep a smooth on-call process.
• Code review, give peer feedback, and communicate actively with teammates to help everyone succeed
• Help onboard other engineers, and contribute to tooling and processes that help make the whole team better
• Off-hours response to critical system incidents or high-priority defects that are blocking customers
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to solve customer pain points.

Requirements:

• 5+ Years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• You have worked with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• You have worked with build/deploy pipelines 
• You have a good understanding of containers and microservice architecture. (Docker/Kubernetes, Elastic Container Service)
• You have a strong desire to work at an early stage startup.
• You have a track record of taking ownership and showing initiative
• You enjoy working on a team and seeing collaborative efforts come to fruition.

 Salary range- $150K - $210K base, plus bonus and equity
