Senior Infrastructure Engineer:
We are looking for an accomplished DX Engineer to join our growing DX team! You will be working alongside a team of dedicated DX Engineers. We partner with other Engineers and Technologists across the company to establish productivity bottlenecks and opportunities in order to scale product development workflows across the Technology organization. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is passionate about automating away classic engineering struggles and coming up with creative solutions to scale impact. - The base pay range for this position is $148,000-$210,900 per year **

**Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual incentive plan and stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
What you get to do everyday
- Designing, developing and rolling out features and enhancements to dev environments, workflows and ecosystems across CI, tooling, Kubernetes, Helm and Terraform.
- Partner with engineering in designing and implementing scalable microservice templates to enable engineering to move fast with a robust, fully-featured, reliable, maintainable, secure foundation, using our own tailored microservice tooling.
- Develop processes and patterns that enable us to scale systems (eg. staging environments, dependency management) without re-implementing the same feature across n-microservices.
- Maintaining the systems that all Engineering depends on and working out how to decrease the time needed to maintain these systems including CI, ArgoCD (our deployment tool) and Staging Environments.
- Mentor and share DX standard processes and practices across the organization to cultivate a culture of DX.
What you bring to the role
- Are intrigued by challenges faced by other engineers and compelled to do something about it
- Background in Software Engineering including programming and common web architecture patterns
- Proficient in automating common workflows using scripting and CI
- A passion for collaborating across teams and functions to achieve a common goal
- Creative thinker and have ideas about how to scale changes across 30+ services, while minimizing the effort and risk
- Ability to take ownership of problems and act on them independently in a constantly evolving environment
- As a more senior member of the team, the ability to mentor other engineers on the team and advise with them on their projects.
