EPAM is looking for a presales-focused QA Architect who is able to scope, design, and deliver end to end test automation solutions and quality engineering transformations for our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the full cycle of pre-sale activities, including RFP processing, proposal development and direct communications with potential clients
  • Act as a trusted consultant to clients seeking to transform their quality organizations in Fortune 1000 companies
  • Define test automation scope (Functional and Non-functional), and tools and technologies required to automate testing for different tiersbest fit for company requirements
  • Collaborate with Project Teams and Stakeholders to create, communicate and drive overall quality strategy and determine the appropriate quality initiatives
  • Establish the appropriate test architecture, reusable frameworks and components with the ability to choose best approach for different types of automated testing (Functional/Non-Functional)
  • Drive quality assurance frameworks to ensure stability, efficiency, and scalability
  • Provide authoritative advice and guidance on any aspect of test planning and execution
  • Assist in the development of quality assurance and testing policies, standards and procedures, processes, and best practices as related to automation and test automation infrastructure


REQUIREMENTS

  • 8+ years of experience in Testing, Automation, and Testing Solution Architecture
  • Bachelor's degree in any field with a minor in a Computer Science related field or at least five years of related industry experience
  • Ability to drive pre-sales activities of testing services such as RFI, RFP, Custom Proposal with different engagement models
  • Experience designing complex Test Strategy and processes at enterprise/organization level (multiple streams, teams, projects, products) including Test Automation, Non-Functional Testing, and Test Environment, and Data Management
  • Has led multiple consulting-related activities on different projects in parallel such as leading assessment, reviewing assessment artifacts, mentoring/coaching second auditors
  • In-depth knowledge of various test techniques/methodologies - classic, modern, and specific test methods like: Mobile, WS, BI testing, approval testing, generative testing, big data, etc (at least a couple of them)
  • Broad knowledge of Testing technologies and latest practices in the field
  • Knowledge on how to incorporate quality into software (architecture, quality of code, deployment and release process, quality of testing process, etc.)
  • History of building efficient quality processes from scratch or significantly improving existing processes
