Software Engineers, Market Intel are obsessed with data quality and building highly reliable and observable ETL frameworks on AWS. You want the right data in the right hands in a secure and repeatable way. You are customer obsessed and crypto-curious, you will challenge the team's existing assumptions and help us zero in on what is most important. At Chainalysis, collaboration is cross team, cross function and global in scale, you’re not afraid to reach out to anyone for help or to make recommendations that improve transparency and communication. We measure success by identifying and tracking key performance indicators, getting a clear understanding of our definitions of done, and delighting our clients and customers. You will be an active participant in understanding and defining project objectives while establishing measurable key results.

- Our data supports major Financial Institutions to invest in cryptocurrency
- We can easily scale to meet the growing demand for data in any format or via any delivery method
- Our production infrastructure is fully observable, cost efficient and robust
A background like this helps:
- You have built large scale production data pipelines on AWS that are observable, robust and cost efficient
- Comfortable writing and debugging complex Python and SQL Scripting
- Hadoop/EMR/Spark tuning experience
- You can select the right storage system for the job (Object, RDBMS, NoSQL, etc.)
- Great with DevOps tools like CI/CD, Terraform, Containers
- Pipeline orchestration - Airflow
- Data Cataloging with AWS Glue or Similar
- Have run production APIs (have experience with AWS API Gateway)
