Software Engineer- Internal Tools

We're looking for a Software Engineer to join us to build internal tools and features for the Appboy platform. On the Internal Tools team, you will also serve as the technical escalation point for our customer success team and be responsible for solving technical issues encountered by our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Become an expert in how our product works from a technical standpoint
- Be the technical point of contact for customer issues escalated from Appboy’s customer success organization
- Add new features and fix customer-facing bugs
- Build or buy new support tools to help automate common tasks and challenges
- Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience developing software, fantastic debugging skills
- Experience in a technical support role/developer role
- Pluses:
- Proficiency using Ruby on Rails, KnockoutJS, MongoDB, Redis or Hadoop
- Have previously worked in a start up
