What you’ll do:
As a Software Engineer at Torch, you will help create delightful experiences for our customers in close collaboration with stakeholders on the engineering, product, and operations teams. You will take a significant role in owning features and will collaborate closely with the CTO and other leaders to land changes that meaningfully affect the course of the business.

What we are looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in a professional engineering environment
- A strong interest in building impactful, user-facing products end-to-end
- Familiarity with a web server framework like Express, Flask, or Rails
- Comfort with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and a frontend framework such as React or Vue
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ideal candidates will also have:
- Worked in a start-up office environment
- Comfort interacting directly with business and other non-engineering stakeholders
- Studied or worked professionally in visual or user experience design
- Owned the end-to-end development of a significant product feature
Compensation and Benefits:
