Joining Collibra's Reports & Insights team:

  • Our mission is to provide access to data and insights to Collibra’s data citizens through a variety of products including mobile, desktop, and analytics. 
  • The Engineering Manager will manage developers on multiple Agile teams, who all understand what we do and why it is important.

Sr Engineering Managers at Collibra are responsible for: 

  • Leading/Managing an inclusive, collaborative, and inspiring team
  • Bringing clarity on the team strategy, context, and company vision
  • Helping the team to set the right expectations with product managers, cross engineering teams, UX, and other stakeholders
  • Understanding the current and future architecture of our software stack
  • Keeping yourself up to date with the industry trends to help the team choose the right tool for the right job

You Have: 

  • +8 years of overall experience as an engineer, at least  4 as an engineering manager
  • Extensive knowledge of software development and best practices
  • Worked in a multicultural and diverse environment
  • Actively involved in the product strategy and succeed in bringing the team vision

You Are: 

  • Able to lead an engineering team by example and are produce work/code when needed
  • Excellent in communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Continually looking for best practices, trends and sharing them with the team
  • Ambitious to see your team growing in their career
  • Familiar with Data Management

Measuring success: 

  • Within your first month, you will schedule recurring 1:1s with your team and get fully onboarded on our products and company values
  • Within your third month, you will have a good understanding of your team and will bring new ideas for improvements
  • Within your sixth month, you will have a good knowledge of the product and will bring new ideas for improvements
