Test Automation Engineer

StockTwits is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our cross-functional Agile engineering team. You will enforce a high bar of quality across our engineering organization, designing and building out the test infrastructure and automation framework necessary to keep Stocktwits and Trade App running smoothly. Above all, your work will directly support the development of the next generation of financial investment on the largest social network of investors and traders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement testing plan for Stocktwits, Trade App and other projects
• Develop integration and end-to-end test automation in CI/CD pipeline
• Analyze server logs and profiling metrics to debug test results and performance issues
• Document test results and configure integrations with bug/issue tracking software
• Identify weaknesses in codebase and user experience and make recommendations, collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Design

Qualifications

• 2-3 years professional experience in software development and/or test automation
• Deep knowledge of testing methodologies and writing test plans
• Extensive experience with Unix/Linux environments
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Nice to have: exposure to Golang, Swift, AWS, Serverless, Containers
