As a Director of Engineering, you will provide technical leadership across all engineering and development areas, ensuring that our products are secure, scalable, and innovative. You will be responsible for defining and executing the company’s engineering strategy, driving the development of new product features, and ensuring alignment with business goals. In this role, you will mentor and grow a high-performing engineering team, foster collaboration with other departments, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Advising on technical direction and providing strategic guidance across engineering and development areas.
- Shaping and recommending the company’s long-term engineering strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Offering insight on the design and rollout of new product features and technology initiatives.
- Guiding, coaching, and supporting engineering leaders and managers in their professional growth.
- Collaborating with other engineering and development teams to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
- Serving as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders on technical matters and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Director of Engineering, Head of Engineering, or senior engineering leader in technology or fintech.
- Strong background in software development, system architecture, and technical strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute engineering strategies that support business growth.
- Hands-on experience in leading product development and launching scalable solutions.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring skills with a track record of building high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner across functions and influence stakeholders.
- Experience maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid knowledge of modern engineering practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud platforms).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Working Hours and Terms
Working Hours:
from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. accordingly.
Workdays: Monday to Friday (5 working days).
Hybrid Schedule: 52 remote days per year, equivalent to one remote workday per week.
