Platforms Pillar

As Adyen continues to expand in North America, we are looking for experienced Account Executives to join our sales team focused on our Platforms customers such as Lightspeed, Zenoti, Oracle and Wix. 

Adyen has a clear competitive advantage in the platform due to our Adyen banking licenses, offering a truly global solution and being built on a singular, interoperable platform. Our value goes beyond Ecommerce and In-Person payments with a broad offering on financial services like issuing, business accounts and credit covering the whole value chain. Adyen for Platforms is a comprehensive solution for marketplaces and platforms to accept and manage payments for their sub-merchants or sellers. Our Adyen for Platforms business has experienced immense growth, with 82% YoY increase in volume and several platforms processing more than 1bn USD annually. This growth underscores the significant embedded payments potential for platforms and highlights our technology's growing appeal, making platforms the fastest-growing pillar within Adyen.

The focus will be on global SaaS platforms and E-Commerce marketplaces that give access to millions of users; so you’re not only building long lasting relationships, but also helping activate new revenue streams through Adyen’s solutions beyond payments processing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the sales cycle with our largest merchants - from the prospecting stage to closing deals;
  • Creatively drive innovation for merchants in platforms, and financial services;
  • Become an expert in selling Adyen's world class financial solutions;
  • Partner with technology leaders and solution providers while working closely with our Sales Support, Implementation and Account Management teams;

Who You Are:

  • You have high levels of energy, love networking, connecting and thrive in hands-on environments;
  • Proven experience in an enterprise sales role (5+ years) selling complex solutions;
  • Payments industry or affiliated partner experience;
  • You are a team player who enjoys working with a global team across different offices, roles, and cultures;
  • You are an analytical, strategic negotiator with a commercially driven, goal-getting attitude
  • You have the ability to execute, manage time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment;
  • Working in the financial space against large banking institutions is a challenge, so these individuals should be prepared to educate and pitch transparently with a consultative approach;
