ABOUT GREENBOARD

At Greenboard, we're building the future of financial compliance. Greenboard is the unified, AI-native compliance operating system for RIAs, fintechs, private funds, hedge funds, and more. It replaces the fragmented mix of legacy tools and automates more than previously possible. By centralizing data and workflows, Greenboard helps firms reduce regulatory risk, simplify their technology stack, modernize how they run compliance, and save money.

Our founding team includes engineers who have scaled products at Amazon, Google, and multiple unicorn startups. We're backed by Y Combinator, General Catalyst, Base10, and other top-tier investors, and have raised over $20M to date. Brand-name financial institutions already rely on Greenboard, and we're growing fast.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Greenboard has product market fit and is growing week over week. Brand-name financial institutions run compliance on us, the category is moving our way, and demand is growing faster than we can hire. Good inbound lands every week, but beyond that is a much larger market that will never raise its hand on its own.

You'll work both, and we expect you to be as fast on a warm lead as you are willing to be on a cold one.

You’ll own the sales cycle from first touch to signature across mid-market and enterprise accounts, partnering with BDRs to build pipeline and break into larger accounts. These are complex deals once they open. Compliance, legal, finance, and operations all get a say, each measures the purchase differently, and the buyer is usually replacing several legacy vendors at once. Discovery and multi-threading matter more here than demo polish.

You'll join a proven motion and a new revenue leader sharpening it for scale, and what you hear on your calls will move messaging, target segments, and what we build next. The market in front of you is far bigger than the team covering it today, which is the whole reason this seat is open.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • The full sales cycle. Outbound prospecting through close across mid-market and enterprise accounts, with the number in your name

  • Pipeline, inbound and outbound. Inbound is a meaningful part of our growth today, and you’ll move quickly and thoroughly on every opportunity that comes in. You’ll also build a pipeline through cold calls, email, social, partnerships, conferences, and other outbound channels.

  • Multi-stakeholder deals. Structured discovery, multi-threading, and positioning value to compliance, legal, finance, and operations

  • Deals through diligence. Procurement, security review, and vendor onboarding at regulated firms, working with product and leadership to unblock what stalls

  • Feedback into the playbook. Run outbound tests, sharpen objection handling, and bring market signal back to sales leadership and product

WHO ARE YOU?

  • Hungry. You work your assigned leads thoroughly, you do the outbound when nobody is checking, and you do not need the process to exist before you start.

  • Accountable. You own the number and the forecast, you call the misses early, and you do not need to be managed to either

  • A learner. You take coaching directly, run the experiment, and incorporate changes quickly

  • Commercially sharp, with strong judgment on deal strategy, prioritization, and negotiation

  • A clear, concise communicator who builds trust quickly with executives and operators

  • Curious about financial infrastructure, compliance, and how modern businesses manage operational risk

  • Located in NYC

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 to 8 years carrying a quota, closing $100k to $500k ACV B2B SaaS deals

  • Have built your own pipeline from cold and sustained it weekly, through list building, cold calls, cold email, and social, rather than only working inbound or an BDR list

  • Run complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes from discovery through procurement and close

  • Forecast accurately, keep CRM hygiene without being asked, and work from data

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

  • Based in NYC or willing to relocate to work from our New York office

NICE TO HAVE

  • Sold into financial services, especially RIAs, broker-dealers, or private funds

  • Sold a product that rips out multiple incumbent vendors rather than adding one more tool

  • Early-stage experience where the playbook did not exist yet

BENEFITS

  • 401(k) with 5% company match

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • 15 days PTO + 11 company holidays + flexible sick time

  • 2 additional PTO days for each year of service (up to 10 additional days)

  • 10 remote days per year plus additional around the holidays

  • Bi-annual off-sites and team retreats

  • Front-row seat to building the operating backbone of modern finance
