Job Summary

The Enterprise Architect ensures that transformation solutions align with business objectives by driving and documenting initiatives while maintaining adherence to standards and governance. This role involves recommending technology and architecture based on business needs, designing scalable operational processes, and developing a roadmap for the enterprise application portfolio. Additionally, the Enterprise Architect engages with executives, integrates technical expertise to solve challenges, and facilitates cross-functional strategies and solutions development.

Role Description

  • Ensure transformation solutions align with business objectives.

  • Drive and document transformation initiatives.

  • Maintain adherence to standards, principles, and governance in service design.

  • Recommend technology and architecture based on business needs and timing.

  • Design efficient, scalable, and compliant operational processes.

  • Guide the evaluation and selection of technology and product standards.

  • Develop a roadmap for evolving the enterprise application portfolio.

  • Engage with executives and stakeholders to inspire and guide strategic decisions.

  • Integrate technical expertise with real-world solutions to solve challenges.

  • Facilitate cross-functional strategies and solutions development.

Skill Level Requirements

  • Ability to create clear and effective technical documentation - Intermediate

  • Demonstrated deep technical knowledge and proficiency in multiple technology areas to provide expert guidance and solutions - Intermediate

  • Ability to implement and manage DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and monitoring to enhance the collaboration between development and operations teams - Intermediate

  • Experience in various project management frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum to effectively plan, execute, and close projects - Intermediate

  • The ability to understand and implement best practices and measures for system security to protect organizational data and infrastructure - Intermediate

  • Ability to oversee and direct projects to completion, ensuring goals are met, resources are utilized efficiently, and stakeholders are satisfied - Intermediate

  • Ability to design, develop, and integrate APIs to enable seamless communication between software applications and services - Intermediate

  • Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions to optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency - Intermediate

Other Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant work experience required

  • Advanced certification such as TOGAF required

  • 5+ years of experience in software development

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role

  • 5+ years of experience with one or more of the following technologies:

    • Cloud (Public, Private, Automation, Observability)

    • Security (Identity, Infrastructure, GRC, DevSecOps)

    • Professional Services & Consulting

    • Application Development and Modernization

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $175,000 - $260,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
