What You’ll Do
As an Enterprise Business Development Representative at 73 Strings, you will play a key role in driving the company’s growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients for our innovative platform. You’ll work closely with Account Executives and Marketing to build a strong sales pipeline, open new business opportunities, and help position 73 Strings as a leader in the private markets technology space.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify target accounts within the private markets ecosystem, including private equity, venture capital, and asset management firms.

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and event follow-up.

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine fit and potential value for 73 Strings’ solutions.

  • Engage with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders to understand their challenges and introduce 73 Strings’ value proposition.

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to hand off qualified leads and support the progression of opportunities through the sales funnel.

  • Maintain accurate records of activities and pipeline data in the CRM system, ensuring strong data hygiene and visibility.

  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Sales to refine outreach strategies and messaging.

  • Contribute to ongoing projects aimed at optimizing lead generation processes and scaling go-to-market efforts.

  • Assist in scoping and managing modern AI-native sales applications.

Who You Are
You are a motivated, curious, and goal-oriented professional eager to advance your career in sales. Minimum Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a sales development, business development, or prospecting role (preferably B2B SaaS or FinTech).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with private markets, investment management, or financial technology (preferred but not required).

  • Highly organized, with excellent time management and CRM proficiency (Salesforce or equivalent).

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working toward measurable targets.

  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-growth environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience engaging with clients in the private equity, venture capital, or asset management sectors.

  • Prior experience working in a high-growth SaaS or FinTech company.

  • Demonstrated success generating qualified opportunities and exceeding activity goals.
