Job Description

Job Title Enterprise Marketing Data Analyst – Cross-Functional Insights & Visualization

Locations: Boston, MA, New York, NY | Hybrid

About the Role

Join SS&C’s Corporate Marketing team and help shape a globally recognized brand powered by data-driven insight. This role plays a critical part in defining how marketing performance is measured, understood, and communicated across integrated campaigns, digital channels, and corporate initiatives worldwide. You will transform complex datasets into clear, compelling insights that guide strategy, optimize investment, and elevate executive decision-making. If you’re passionate about blending analytics, storytelling, and brand impact to drive growth in a global financial technology leader, this role offers the opportunity to make a visible, lasting impact.

Why Join SS&C

SS&C combines proprietary technology with deep industry expertise to support complex financial and health care operations. Our teams design, implement, and operate solutions that help clients manage data, automate processes, and scale their businesses with confidence.

You will work with industry experts, modern platforms, and evolving technologies, gaining exposure to real-world operational challenges and large-scale enterprise environments.

How You Will Make an Impact

Cross-Functional Data Partnership

  • Engage with business units to understand their data needs, processes, and KPIs.
  • Map and document the data landscape across systems (CRM, MAP, web analytics, advertising platforms, product data, etc.).
  • Serve as the primary analytics liaison, ensuring marketing has accurate, accessible, and trusted data to support decision-making.
  • Translate business challenges into clear analytical requirements and data solutions.

Analytics, Insights & Storytelling

  • Analyze marketing performance across channels, segments, and lifecycle stages to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Transform complex datasets into concise insights that marketing leaders can act on.
  • Develop insights frameworks that support campaign optimization, ROI analysis, attribution, funnel performance, and forecasting.
  • Present findings with clarity, business context, and recommendations.

Data Visualization & Dashboard Development

  • Design and build intuitive, executive-ready dashboards using platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
  • Automate reporting to eliminate manual processes and improve data accuracy and speed.
  • Ensure dashboards emphasize clarity, trust, and storytelling—not just data display.
  • Maintain and evolve a library of standardized metrics, definitions, and reporting models.

Data Quality, Governance & Process Improvement

  • Identify and resolve data quality issues across systems; partner with RevOps, IT, and Data Engineering on remediation.
  • Contribute to governance frameworks, ensuring consistent KPI definitions across the organization.
  • Recommend improvements to data pipelines, integrations, and enrichment processes.

Required Experience

  • 3–7+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics, Marketing Operations, Business Intelligence, or Data Analysis.
  • Strong data visualization skills with hands-on experience in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik, Domo, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SQL and structured data manipulation.
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation tools (Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua), and digital analytics platforms (GA4, Adobe Analytics).
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder-management skills.

What Sets You Apart (preferred qualifications)

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, financial services, technology, or other data-driven environments.
  • Familiarity with attribution models, pipeline analysis, and forecasting.
  • Experience with AWS, Snowflake, BigQuerydbt, or similar tools.
  • Background in statistics, predictive modeling, or experimentation.
