Human Resources Specialist
Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour
Education: Associate’s degree in HR or related field preferred; Bachelor’s degree a plus (No HR experience required — we will train the right candidate.)

The Human Resources Specialist plays a key role in supporting our recruiting and hiring efforts. This position focuses heavily on interviewing, candidate communication, and helping ensure we bring in strong talent for our stores. Additional HR duties are fully trainable — perfect for someone looking to start or grow their HR career.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Hiring (Primary Focus)
- Conduct phone screens and in‑person interviews for store and support roles
- Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers
- Support the full hiring process from application review to offer
- Communicate professionally with candidates throughout each stage
- Assist with onboarding and new‑hire setup
Trainable HR Support Duties
- Maintain accurate HR files, records, and documentation
- Respond to basic employee and applicant questions; escalate when needed
- Protect the confidentiality and integrity of all HR information
- Assist with timesheet review and basic payroll corrections (training provided)
- Support new‑hire training sessions
- Help plan and execute employee events, meetings, and recognition activities
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable interviewing and speaking with candidates
- Professional, tactful, and able to handle confidential information
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn HR systems quickly
