Lead and optimize Epic Revenue Cycle initiatives in a healthcare environment, focusing on operational efficiency, workflow standardization, and cross-functional coordination within revenue cycle operations.

Superlanet is seeking an Epic Revenue Cycle Lead for our healthcare client in Texas. This is a remote direct hire opportunity with quarterly travel requirements. This individual will serve as a senior operational and application leader responsible for driving Epic Revenue Cycle initiatives across a complex healthcare environment.
This role will lead optimization efforts focused on scheduling, registration, referrals, revenue cycle operations, and workflow standardization. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of Epic application expertise, operational partnership experience, and leadership capabilities within large healthcare organizations.
- Lead Epic Revenue Cycle support, optimization, and strategic operational initiatives across the organization
- Partner closely with operational leadership, revenue cycle leadership, clinic leadership, and IT teams to improve workflow efficiency, scheduling accuracy, and operational performance
- Lead workflow design sessions, build discussions, system optimization efforts, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution activities
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with downstream Revenue Cycle teams including Professional Billing (PB), Hospital Billing (HB), HIM, Ambulatory, MyChart, and integration teams
- Support Epic upgrades, governance initiatives, enhancement requests, and long-term application strategy planning
- Drive workflow standardization efforts while balancing departmental and operational needs across the enterprise
- Mentor and guide analysts while assisting with prioritization, escalation management, operational initiatives, and project coordination
- Help offset operational leadership workload by serving as a trusted lead resource for both application and operational initiatives
- Support end-user adoption, operational improvement initiatives, and enterprise workflow transformation efforts
- Strong Professional Billing (PB) experience required
- Hospital Billing (HB) experience highly preferred
- Strong claims experience required, including understanding of claims workflows, claim edits, denials, and downstream revenue cycle impacts
- 5–8+ years of Epic application experience with strong analyst and build expertise
- Strong understanding of front-end Revenue Cycle operations and workflows
- Understanding of billing operations, claims workflows, call center workflows, and downstream revenue cycle impacts
- Familiarity with Resolute workflows and integrations
- Experience supporting operational optimization initiatives within healthcare organizations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner directly with operational leaders, revenue cycle stakeholders, and executive leadership
- Experience leading workflow redesign, operational improvement, and end-user support initiatives
- Prior Lead Analyst, Team Lead, or leadership experience strongly preferred
Required Qualifications
- Strong Professional Billing (PB) experience required with certification
- Hospital Billing (HB) experience highly preferred
- Strong claims experience required, including understanding of claims workflows, claim edits, denials, and downstream revenue cycle impacts
- 5–8+ years of Epic application experience with strong analyst and build expertise
- Strong understanding of front-end Revenue Cycle operations and workflows
- Understanding of billing operations, claims workflows, call center workflows, and downstream revenue cycle impacts
- Familiarity with Resolute workflows and integrations
- Experience supporting operational optimization initiatives within healthcare organizations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner directly with operational leaders, revenue cycle stakeholders, and executive leadership
- Experience leading workflow redesign, operational improvement, and end-user support initiatives
- Prior Lead Analyst, Team Lead, or leadership experience strongly preferred

- Experience with Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) workflows strongly preferred
- Exposure to HIM workflows or cross-functional HIM collaboration highly beneficial
- Exposure to patient access governance, scheduling standardization, and operational reporting initiatives
- Understanding of downstream revenue cycle impacts tied to registration, claims, and scheduling accuracy
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Leadership exposure within Epic or healthcare IT teams
- Coaching and mentorship experience
- Involvement in performance evaluations or team development initiatives
- Ability to lead operational discussions and help drive organizational priorities
- Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities across operational and technical teams
Benefits
Salary based on experience $125,000 - $135,000+
