You will work closely with production team members and engineers to monitor tool performance, perform preventative maintenance, trouble-shoot and repair equipment, and support equipment installations and upgrades. Your contributions will directly impact tool uptime, product quality, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor tool performance and perform scheduled preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets.
- Trouble-shoot and repair mechanical and electronic equipment using diagnostic tools and software.
- Document all maintenance activities thoroughly using established check sheets and tracking systems, while routinely reviewing maintenance documentation and procedures for accuracy and improvement opportunities.
- Dismantle, adjust, repair, and reassemble equipment based on schematics, manuals, and layout plans. Assist with equipment installations, testing, and modifications as directed by engineering teams.
- Create and update equipment procedures and documentation to ensure consistent maintenance practices and use AI to improve job functions.
- Systematically solve problems to improve tool uptime and reduce recurring issues.
- Rebuild manufacturing equipment as needed to maintain operational standards.
- Use test and calibration equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, DMMs) to perform equipment checkouts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off),
Ability to climb ladders and work with arms raised above the head• Ability to lift and control 50lbs [FREQUENTLY]• Ability to lift and control to 30lbs over the head• Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces• Ability to perform tasks while bending, crouching, or kneeling• Ability to report to the site as scheduled• Ability to see and respond to potentially dangerous situations• Ability to wear personal protective gear• Ability to work with various gases and chemicals used for production processes and maintenance• Hand-eye coordination and ability to operate specialized tools for equipment maintenance• Ability to use hand-held tools weighing less than 3lbs in a repetitive motion• Sustained Sitting or Standing (up to 10 hours a shift)• Walking (1 - 5 miles per shift)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent military/industry experience.
- Basic knowledge of semiconductor equipment and manufacturing processes, along with knowledge of AC/DC circuits, electronic components, and basic electronic's theory. Understanding of statistical process control (SPC) principles and their application.
- Familiarity with test and calibration equipment such as oscilloscopes and digital multimeters. Experience in data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
