Jefferies is seeking an associate for its Semiconductor/Semiconductor Capital Equipment Equity Research team. The candidate will support the team in writing extensive company and industry research, constructing, and maintaining detailed company financial models, and marketing written research recommendations to clients and institutional salespeople.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Create and maintain earnings and valuation models
  • Write research publications on industry trends and stock recommendations
  • Analyze industry trends and compile findings
  • Produce marketing materials for clients
  • Attend company events, industry conferences, and trade shows
  • Develop relationships with management teams and industry contacts
  • Over time, communicate team’s stock views and industry themes to institutional investors, trading desks, and other internal constituencies within Jefferies

 

Key Qualifications: 

  • Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity
  • Clear and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Superior financial statement modeling skills with demonstrated self-auditing abilities
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • 1-2 yrs. of experience in investment banking, equity research, accounting, journalism or related fields a plus
  • Undergraduate background in finance, accounting, with strong analytical skills. CPAs typically excel in this role.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $100,000 - $120,000.

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
